James (Jim) William Tabor, 72

Jim Tabor, 72, of Rifle, Colorado, originally from Austin, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2016.
Jim enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, Nascar No. 24 and family gatherings. He served in the U.S. Navy onboard the U.S.S. Lake Champlain-CVA-39 from 1961 to1964.
Jim is survived by his children: Connie (Geno) Karr of Silt, Colorado, Wayne Tabor of Rifle, Colorado, Kris (Dave) Tabor-Nash of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Suzi (Dannie) Tabor-Fugita of Rifle, Colorado, and Jennifer (Russell) Barber of Albert Lea; grandchildren: Amy, Ryan, Nicky (Karr), Mollie, Morgan (Tabor), Michael, Kaylee (Tabor-Nash), Diane, Dano, David (Tabor-Fugita), Talia, Bailey (Barber); 12 great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, J.D. Other survivors include: five brothers: Steve, Duane, Craig, Gary and Bruce; five sisters: Sharon, Donna, Bonnie, Cheryl and Kathy; and by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Grant and Viola (Janning) Tabor; former spouse, Jeaneen (Prihoda) Tabor; brother, Eugene; and sisters Delores, Pat and Marsha.
Cremation has taken place and there was no service per his request.
