School board incumbent Mary Jane Kestner will not seek reelection this November.
Kestner, who was first elected in 2012, has decided to not run again for family reasons. However, she is endorsing Carolyn Dube and is excited about her potential as a candidate.
“She’s a great lady,” Kestner said. “She’s going to be a really good choice for people.”
Three seats are up for grabs come Nov. 8 and board members will serve four-year terms.
