The community of Lyle is coming together Tuesday for dinner and a night out.
The Lyle Lions will host a Windsor chop dinner and community night out from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Lyle American Legion, 112 Grove St.
The meal will cost $10 for adults and $5 for children. It will feature Windsor chops, potato salad, sweet corn, root beer floats and hotdogs for children.
The event will serve as a night out with the city’s fire trucks, ambulance and police squad car all on display.
The event will serve as a fundraiser for the Lyle Lions, which in turn serves community project like buying winter clothing for children and it’s help a Lyle student buy glasses.
“It’s kind of the main fundraiser for the Lions Club,” said club Vice President Alex Block.
