Q: How did you originally get into football?

A: I started playing catch in the backyard and played Madden with my dad at a young age. I started playing flag football in first grade for a Grand Meadow league. That lead to starting tackle football in fourth grade to play for Hayfield which I’ve done since.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: My eighth grade season our junior high team played Southland and on the first play of offense I ran for a 60 yard touchdown untouched.

Q: What have you learned from sports?

A: I have learned many great life lessons from sports. In one on one sports I have learned to take full responsibility and not to blame others. In team sports I have learned the importance of teamwork and working together. Also that it takes hard work, dedication, self-confidence, and determination to succeed. The best lesson I learned is to not set your goals to be good, but set them for you to be great.

Q: What is the hardest part about football?

A: When the games don’t go our way, staying positive and playing with full effort (individually and as a team) is challenging, but is very important.

Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?

A: Barry Sanders. He was great athlete and person. He set records in college and the NFL and he was very humble to the game. You never saw him going crazy and celebrating when he ran for a first down or touchdown. He just simply loved the game of football; he didn’t play for the fame, money, or to break records.

Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?

A: Chicago Fire.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Psychology.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: I’d love to be the team chiropractor for the Minnesota Vikings.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Macaroni and cheese.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: I plan to get my bachelor or master degree and hopefully play college football somewhere as a walk on.

Q: What’s a fun fact about you or hobby you enjoy most people don’t know about?

A: I went to my first Minnesota Vikings game when I was 8 and I’ve been to about 15 others since.

Q: What are your top three pump songs before a big game?

A: “Get Up” by Korn ft. Skrillex, “Sucker For Pain” by Lil Wayne and “I Got the Keys” by DJ Khaled

Q: What are your top three guilty pleasure songs?

A: “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus, “My Boo” by Ghost Town DJs and “Lonely’ by Akon.
