The Mower County Senior Center and Mayer Funeral Home present the 2016 Our Family Matters three-month series.
Last year, Our Family Matters provided a variety of programs on various subjects that are very important to us and our families. Mark your calendars and attend all three events, on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. Sept. 20, Oct. 18, and Nov. 15 at the senior center.
Sept. 20 is the first in the series “Casket or Cremation, How Do I Decide?” What is most important to those loved ones you are leaving behind? Before you make the decision make sure you have all the information available to you, so your decision is the best for those you leave behind.
Even if you have already made your choice, plan to join us to get information on the emotional, relational, environmental and spiritual aspects between casket or cremation for your funeral. Hors d’oeuvres and tasty treats will be offered for all to enjoy.
Advance registration is needed for organizing written materials and refreshments. You’ll have a chance to win our traditional door prize drawing of lunch for two at The Old Mill Restaurant. Please stop by the senior center to register for Our Family Matters, or call us at 507-433-2370 or Mayer Funeral Home at 507-433-1817. We’ll see you there.

It’s grill time again. Join us for fun, food and fellowship for picnic-in-the-lot. Can’t you just smell those burgers cooking?
