2 cited after starting fight at The Bakery

Two men ages 26 and 23 were cited for starting a fight Saturday after bar patrons and employees asked them to leave The Bakery Lounge.
According to Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to The Bakery around 8:41 p.m. Saturday to a large fight. The two men were quite drunk and had been hitting on women and were asked to leave.
When employees and patrons tried to peacefully escort them from the bar, a fight broke out.
The 23-year-old was cited for disorderly conduct, fourth-degree assault of a peace officer after spitting on a cop, and he faces possible fifth-degree assault charges for possession of a dangerous weapon. A knife was found in his pocket.
The 26-year-old was cited for disorderly conduct.
