Julie Ann Chaffee, 65

Julie Ann Chaffee, 65, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, died Thursday Nov. 10, 2016, at Hillside Health Care Center in Missoula, Montana. She was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease in August of this year.
Julie was born Nov. 12, 1950, to Loy and Leora Enerson of Rose Creek, Minnesota. She attended Lyle Public School, graduating in 1968, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.
In 1967, she married Phillip Everson. They had two children, Todd and Lisa, and later divorced. In 1979, Julie married Robert Chaffee of Austin. That same year, she graduated from Austin Vocational School as a licensed practical nurse and was employed at the Good Samaritan Center in Albert Lea, Minnesota, for many years before moving to Missoula in 1984. She loved her work at St. Patrick Hospital for greater than 25 years until her retirement.
When not working, Julie was an avid golfer and duck hunter and highly-devoted grandma. She later developed a passion for playing bridge and all the wonderful people she played with.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Loy Enerson; her son, Todd Everson; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Enerson and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hansen; and her step-father, Sylvan Stromley.
Julie is survived by her husband, Robert Chaffee of Missoula; daughter Lisa (Danny) Brown and grandchildren, Jeremy, McKenna, Camden and Aaron of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her mother, Leora Stromley of St. Ansgar, Iowa; brother, Jan Enerson (Sue Leighton) of Rose Creek, Minnesota, and his two children; step-daughter, Julie Renee Chaffee, granddaughter, Erica (Adam) Tranmer and great-granddaughter, Nellie Jo and grandson, Scott Richardson of Lolo, Montana; and stepson, Jon (Beth) Chaffee of Scottsdale, Arizona.
