A 22-year-old Rose Creek man pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography in Mower County District Court Tuesday.

Evan Jon Hill changed his plea to guilty in Mower County District Court for one count of possessing pornographic work involving a minor, a felony, while a second count of the same charge was dismissed.

According to a court complaint, a woman discovered 10 inappropriate images on his cell phone last year when she looked through the deleted photos taken on the phone.

Hill is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 23, 2017.
