Piehler nets hat trick as Bruins sweep Bobcats

The Austin Bruins completed a weekend sweep over Bismarck (8-6-1 overall) when they beat the Bobcats 5-2 in Riverside Arena Saturday.
Michael Piehler, a forward from Plano, Texas, had a breakout second period as he scored all three of his goals in an eight-minute stretch. Piehler had just two goals before Saturday’s win.
Alex Schilling had 18 saves in the win for Austin (7-7-1 overall).
