Austin man hurts knee in crash

The name of the Austin man injured Friday in a crash in Freeborn County has been released.
Erick Lee, 30, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin with a possible broken knee. He was later transported to Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. His condition is unknown.
A semi was driving south on Freeborn County Road 26, when it became stuck in the intersection with Freeborn County Road 46 and was struck by a SUV traveling east driven by Lee, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the crash at 4:05 p.m.
The driver of the semi, Phillip Christopher Wallace, 47, of Ranger, Texas, was not injured in the crash.
He was cited for failing to yield in a right of way.
The SUV was deemed a complete loss.
