Bruins get past Aberdeen Wings

The Austin Bruins came out strong as they topped the Aberdeen Wings (8-12-2-1 overall) 6-4 in Riverside Arena Friday night.
The Bruins (11-8-2-2 overall) seized a 3-1 lead in the first period, but the Wings tied things up at 4-4 late in the second period. Just one minute leader, Austin’s Peter Zsombor-Garat scored to give the Bruins the lead for good.
Jake Kucharski had 24 saves in net for Austin.
