AACA turning to the public for ideas
Published 5:01 am Monday, January 16, 2017
The Historic Paramount Theatre has been a part of the Austin community since opening in 1929.
The Austin Area Commission for the Arts wants to be responsible stewards of this community resource by seeking input on the types of entertainment and events the public would like to see held in the Paramount Theatre.
Input is needed on the types of events people want to attend, the most popular types of music to present and how people learn about entertainment options in the community. Community members are also asked for feedback on the most important factors when making an entertainment decision.
The survey also contains an option to provide any other information to the Austin Area Commission for the Arts about programming at the Paramount.
Survey results will be reviewed by staff, board members and volunteers on marketing and programming committees.
If you share your opinions, they will help shape the programs that are offered and the way those programs are promoted. Please consider taking a moment to respond to the short survey at www.austinareaarts.org or stop in to the ArtWorks Center at 300 N Main Street (Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) for a paper copy.
