APDT takes second in Big Nine

The Austin Packer dance team took second place in the high kick and jazz competition at the Big Nine meet in Rochester John Marshall Saturday.
Faribault took first in high kick and jazz and Rochester Mayo was third in both events.
Faribault won the Big Nine title, with Austin coming in second.

Madison Klein, Abby Miller and Cloey Thorpe made the All-Big Nine team for Austin and McKenna Hotek, Nikki Summerfield and Mary Wilrodt were honorable mention.
The Austin Packer Dance Team will be holding their annual team fundraiser Feb. 4 featuring the area Just For Kix programs, the Ellis Dance Team, and the JV and varsity high school dance teams. The Packers will compete in the section meet in Kasson Feb. 11.
