You may have seen an article recently celebrating the extremely generous donations by our corporate partners such as the Hormel Foods Corporation and Quality Pork Processors. Our campaign would also not be possible without our small business partners, who generously run employee campaigns in their work place. Small business partners who raise thousands of dollars each year to support our community. Our small business partners are vital to the success of United Way of Mower County, as we endeavor to improve lives through our work in Education, Income, Health, and Basic Needs.
The United Way of Mower County brings people, companies, and nonprofits together to create positive sustainable change in our community. By focusing on four core impact areas we help create pathways out of poverty for hardworking families, ensure more children are ready to succeed in school, provide basic needs to individuals and families, and make our community stronger and healthier.
Small businesses, such as McFarland Truck Lines, Austin Utilities, CliftonLarsonAllen, International Paper, Bellisio Foods, Cedar Valley Services, Davis, Thoen, Kramer & Associates, and Accentra Credit Union understand the United Way mission and are investing in us and in our community to create a brighter future for everyone in Mower County. We are very fortunate to have such passionate and dedicated supporters of the United Way, year after year. With a combined total of over $50,000, this year alone, these businesses make a difference in the community and for the programs supported by the United Way.
At the United Way of Mower County, we know that we cannot do it alone, we need the help of everyone in our community. We are very fortunate to have the support of these businesses. They understand that by supporting the United Way, they are not only helping those in need but everyone that lives and works in Mower County and to help our community succeed we must be all in this together.
We invite you and your employees to join the United Way, and all our partners, in bettering the lives through Education, Income, Health, and Basic Needs. The process is simple and allows you and your employees the opportunity to invest in our community in a way that is convenient for everyone.
