The Riverland Community College baseball team wrapped up its trip to Arizona with a pair of wins Friday.
The Blue Devils beat Itasca 5-4 and they topped Anoka-Ramsey 13-3.
RCC (6-1 overall) beat Itasca when Josh Molina, a freshman from Puerto Rico, hit a two-run walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning. RCC trailed 3-0 in the first inning against Anoka-Ramsey and it was able to bounce back and win.
“It was a good, successful trip,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said. “We’ve got some work to do yet, but we did get some good performances from some guys. It think we’ve got a chance to be real good again this year.”
