Friday the Mower County Senior Center will be hosting the next Defensive Driving class.

This class starts at noon and goes until 4 p.m. and is a four hour refresher course to give you a 10 percent reduction on your insurance. If you have taken the original eight hour course this class is for you. The refresher only needs to be taken every three years.

We like to think our teachers are very interesting and take what can be a long class and give you things you can learn and take with you. The class is $16 for members and $19 for non-members. You can sign up by stopping by the senior center front desk or calling 1-507-433-2370. Hope to see you there.

We look forward to seeing you at our many programs at the senior center. Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and  sandwich for 50 cents. Don’t forget Tuesday is hotdish day. We are having scalloped potatoes and ham for only $2. You are always welcome at the center.
