Sharon L. Hoevet, 74, of Kingsland, Georgia, formerly of Madison Lake, Minnesota, and Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center in Amelia Island, Florida.
Born Oct. 12, 1942, in Mankato, Minnesota, Sharon Hoevet was the daughter of the late Harlan and Leona Ulman of Janesville, Minnesota. She was a 1960 graduate of Janesville High School. She received her associate degree at Mankato State University in Minnesota, and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in Austin. While living in Minnesota, Sharon was an active member of the Madison Lake German Club and a volunteer with Goodwill and the Salvation Army. She resided in Camden County, Georgia, for the past nine years. She was a member of the Kingsland First United Methodist Church and member of the Silver Saints and Bible Study groups in Kingsland.
Survivors include her son, Robert Hoevet of Kingsland; two daughters, Kristine Wolfe (Bill) of Baltimore, Maryland, and Becky Hoevet of Madison, Wisconsin; and the love of her life, her only grandson, Zachary Hoevet.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at the Arnoldt Chapel of the Starkson & Steffel Funeral and Cremation Services in Janesville. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery of St. Clair, Minnesota. The family requests memorial contributions in memory of Sharon L. Hoevet be made to the Waseca County Food Shelf.
