Austin police are looking for a vehicle reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of First Street Southwest.

According to Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to a call of a stolen vehicle at 11:34 p.m. on Thursday. The victim did not provide a list of suspects, but allowed an acquaintance to stay at the residence prior to the theft. The acquaintance is no longer staying there.

The vehicle is a green 2002 Pontiac Grand Am valued at about $2,000. The license plate number is 784-RXJ. The vehicle had a full tank of gas and duct tape on the driver side corner window.

Austin police officers are continuing their investigation.
