The visit to our newly renovated state capitol in St. Paul has generated a great deal of interest. So  we have set  Monday, April 24, for a second visit. There are some seats still available for this trip, so  call our travel number at 507-438-3946 and make your reservation.

Upcoming travels

•April 18 and April 24: State capitol visit. Both trips will depart at 7 a.m. from the south end of the Wal-Mart Parking lot. Prepare to arrive 15 minutes early. Return time is 5:45 pm. Travel time always depends on heavy traffic, especially in the Twin Cities area. This trip will include a morning guided tour of the capitol, and an afternoon step-on guide for a Gangster Tour, also in St. Paul. Both will give us an insight of St. Paul. You will learn how it became the capitol and  the true  story of how the gangsters of Chicago were involved. The April 24 trip is due by April 11.

•May 11-12: “South Pacific” at the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Set during World War II, this is one of the most celebrated musicals at this beautiful theater. You will just fall in love all over again with this beautiful musical.  We are also looking forward to the newly decorated dinning room project with a Far East flare.  This dinner-show  includes a fabulous buffet. We will overnight next door for this two day trip. This is one of the great professional  shows that we are planning for this season. Fee for this trip is due by April 11.  Space is still available. It’s a great way to spend Mother’s Day in advance.

July 26: “Grease” at The Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. An Aug. 23 trip has been added. Early sign-ups are always available.

•Other trips are in the planning stages an available for sign-up.
