Tanner Steene is a senior baseball player for the Packers.
Q: What sports do you compete in?
A: Baseball is the only sport I compete in.
Q: How did you originally get into baseball?
A: My parents were the ones who introduced the game to me. After that I fell in love with it.
Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: Playing in the VFW State Baseball Tournament a few years ago.
Q: What have you learned from sports?
A: To get what you want, you have to work for it. Nobody’s going to give it to you.
Q: What is the hardest part about baseball?
A: Staying mentally focused when things get tough.
Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?
A: Kobe Bryant. He’s got an edge to him that nobody else has.
Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?
A: “Saving Private Ryan.”
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Economics.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: To market for a professional sports team.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Orange chicken
Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: To attend Minnesota State University, Mankato to study sports management.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you or hobby you enjoy most people don’t know about?
A: I’ve got some good jokes
