One day after it played its best defensive game of the season, the Blooming Prairie baseball team hit a setback as it lost 13-2 to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (4-3 overall) in BP Friday.
The game was tied at 2-2 after four innings, but JWP tallied eight runs in the fifth inning to put things away. BP (1-5 overall) finished with seven errors.
“It’s disappointing after we played pretty good defense yesterday,” BP head coach Matt Kittelson said. “We just had a couple of mental errors and the wind came out of our sails.”
