Livestock receiver nights – Austin Plant

Hours Monday – Friday, approximately 3:30pm – 12:00am, with overtime required. Saturday and Sunday work is frequent.

Responsibilities:
Completes the necessary procurement transaction information and receives animals according to the Hormel Foods Procurement department’s rules and regulations.
Serves as the front-line Hormel contact with producers and transporters, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enforces Hormel’s animal welfare and handling policies
Provides relief coverage in Grade and Yield department, as needed
