Senior center hosting planting seminar

SuperFresh is coming to the Mower County Senior Center at 2 p.m. on Wednesday to do a spring class on potting plants.
They will have a variety of plants to choose from, both indoor and outdoor plants, all flowering. The class is free and limited to 20 people.
You will all be given a six-inch pot, soil and beautiful flowers to choose from to plant in it. Learn about how to care for your plants and take it home with you when you are done.
There will be time for questions about your garden or planting ideas so make sure you come with them. To sign up for this class stop by the front desk or call 1-507-433-2370.
Take mom to lunch
Join us for lunch at noon on Friday.
Come and bring a friend or spoil the mother in your life with a lovely lunch. We are having wedge salad, meatloaf, potato, California medley and dessert. Cost is $8 for members and $9 for non-members. Bring a friend and enjoy the entertainment.

You may not be old now, but if you’re lucky, one day you will be. We look forward to seeing you at our many programs at the senior center. Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and sandwich for 50 cents.
Don’t forget Tuesday is hotdish day. We are having tator tot hotdish for only $2. You are always welcome at the center.
