Summer of travel keeps rolling down the road

Our summertime travel schedule is on a roll — Literally.
But there still is time to catch some summer fun with us.
•July 13: We will be making our fourth visit to the opening play at the Marion Ross
Performing Arts Center in Albert Lea. The popular Disney production “Mary Poppins” is this year’s show. This is an enchanting mixture of breathtaking dance numbers and unforgettable songs. Remember songs such as “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Jolly Holiday” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” A mystery meal is included prior to the show. We will depart from Wal-Mart at 4:30 p.m. There are only a few seats left. Fee is due by Tuesday.
•July 26: “Grease” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater in Chanhassen, Minnesota. This show unveils the 1950 lifestyle of high school life and is a high-octane rock ’n roll’ party packed with explosive energy. Final payment date is Tuesday. There is a waiting list for both of the shows of “Grease” which we have booked. We will depart at 9 a.m. and return time will be about 6 p.m.
•Aug. 23: The second trip to Chanhassen for “Grease.” Payment is due by July 24.
•Aug. 9: The annual Mystery Trip. Clues will be coming soon. The fee for this trip is due by July 13.
•Oct 3-5: Fall Leafing trip up the North Shore Drive. This trip will include many of the stops that Duluth is so well known for. Highlights include: The Vista Queen Cruise, Northshore Scenic Railroad Museum tour with a steam locomotive pulling the train, lighthouse tour, historic Glensheen Mansion. Lodging is in the Canal Park Area near the aerial lift bridge.
A Reminder that plans are made for a riverboat cruise on the Blue Danube in 2018. Five countries will be included. Early promotion is in effect until July 31.
