An Austin woman found hiding 11.4 grams of cocaine in her vagina and $823 in her bra after being arrested in January for DWI has pleaded guilty to two charges.
Rachel Ann Thomas, 25, pleaded guilty to felony third-degree drug possession of 10 grams or more of cocaine and gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI as part of a plea agreement in Mower County District Court on Friday.
She initially pleaded not guilty to the charges.
According to the court report, Thomas was arrested after failing several field sobriety tests during a traffic stop on Jan. 1. The officer discovered she was also on probation for a felony drug crime.
Thomas was brought to the Mower County Jail, where she tested a 0.17 on the Breathalyzer test. A jailer found the money and cocaine during a search after Thomas denied having any contraband on her person.
Thomas is scheduled for sentencing on Nov. 17.
