Lillian Bertha Roiland, 91, of Austin, Minnesota, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at Mayo Clinic Health System, Austin.

Lillian was born March 28, 1926, in Foley, Minnesota, to Oscar and Delia (Butler) Johnson. On Oct. 28, 1950, she married Jarvis Roiland in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The couple raised two daughters. Jarvis passed away in 2006. Lillian enjoyed her role as homemaker, wife, and mother.

The family lived in Europe for three years during Jarvis’s military service. Her favorite pastimes included gardening, cooking, sewing, painting rooms in their house, telling jokes and making her family laugh with her silly sense of humor. Lillian will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Joy Alexander of Arkansas and Susan Kay Roiland (Cary Tuttle) of Austin; seven grandchildren, Megan, Brianna, Travis, Ashley (Tyler Stadheim), Tyler, Whitney, and Madison; two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Ellie Stadheim; siblings Conrad Johnson of Foley, Minnesota, Gladys Conner of Fairfield, California, and William Johnson of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, and four sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.  Services prearranged and performed by Worlein Funeral Home of Austin. Condolences may be expressed to the family online atwww.worlein.com.
