Our busy schedule continues as travelers are anxious to enjoy all the summer activities.

A calendar schedule with fee due dates is available for  your convenience. Reminder that all of our trips depart from the south end of Wal-Mart.

•July 26: “Grease” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. This is a high-octane rock ‘n’ roll party packed with explosive energy. The show contains many unforgettable show tunes, such as “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightnin” and “Look at me, I am Sandy Dee.”

Motorcoach departs at 9 a.m. and returns at 6 p.m.

•Aug. 9:  Annual Mystery Trip.  This tradition began many years ago, and still continues to be very popular. New destinations are harder to fine every year, but I think this year will again stump our group.  Remember, there is a prize for guessing where we are going .

This is our second clue:

“Its Summertime in Minnesota with fond memories for you and me.

As it all goes around, a merry time it will be.”

•Aug. 23: “Grease.” Second trip to Chanhassen.  9 a.m. departure. Reminder, we do not call or send reminders of trips you may be taking.

•Sept. 27: Cruising down the Mississippi River on the Celebration Belle. A beautiful four-deck paddle boat, which we will bus you to at Prairie du chein, Wisconsin. A four-hour cruise, with music, food, narration and hopefully, some turning of the leaves, color. The last day to pay on this trip is Sept. 5. Note: the Travel Office will be closed on Sept. 6 for one week.

The Oct. 3-4-5: Fall trip heading up the North Shore Drive in Duluth, Minnesota is planned and the final payment date also is Sept. 5.  There will be extended hours that day at the Travel Office.

Payments may be sent or let off at the Travel Office. Early payments are encouraged with the busy fall schedule planned. Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to  noon.

Our first riverboat cruise where we’ll visit four countries in Europe, is planned with your interestsand suggestions.  There will be visits to Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, and two days in the Czech Republic.

The special Free Air Offer is valid until July 31. This tour is planned for September 2018. Reminder, you must make certain that your pass port is up to date.
