Blooming Prairie, Stewartville to host Manufacturing Week events

Southern Minnesota communities will join others across the nation marking Manufacturing Week Oct. 1-7 by offering tours to education professionals, elected officials and news media with tours of manufacturing facilities. They will learn about today’s high-tech and innovative manufacturing work environments.

Community and Economic Development Associates has partnered with the Minnesota’s Department of Employment and Economic Development and Journey To Growth to host tours of

Halcon/GeoTek in Stewartville from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3;

Crenlo/Pace Dairy Foods Co. in Rochester from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3,

Metal Services and Minimizer in Blooming Prairie from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4; and

Miken Sports/SnoPac Foods in Caledonia from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 5.
