The Hayfield volleyball team swept Byron (13-3 overall, 3-2 HVL) by scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-16 in Hayfield Thursday.

Maggie Streightiff had 14 kills and 22 set assists for the Vikings (15-3 overall, 6-1 HVL) and Carrie Rutledge had 11 kills and 17 digs.

“We had another great crowd turn out for the game in Byron,” Hayfield head coach Jeremy Struck said. “We are very appreciative of the energy they bring to the game. The girls played a little tired tonight, but have had a huge week of volleyball.”
