$47,000 worth of property stolen from auction service

Sheriff deputies are looking for a pick-up and trailer that were stolen sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday and early morning hours of Thursday from Hamilton’s Auction Service near Highway 16 and Interstate 90.
According to Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May, the owner of Hamilton Auction Service reported that a 2003 Chevy 2500 pick-up with Minnesota license plate 755 EGZ had been stolen. Attached to the truck was a black P.J. 22-foot trailer with Minnesota license plate 495 CTC. Both are registered to Hamilton Farms Inc.
Also stolen was a 110-gallon diesel fuel tank sitting in the bed of the truck and a 2006 John Deere 325 skid loader with a six-foot Bobcat brush cutter that were sitting on the trailer.
The keys were located in the truck. The total estimated value of the stolen property was $47,000.
There are no suspects at this time. The theft is under investigation.
