Ann Maxfield, DTM, local Toastmaster, won second place in the Southern Minnesota Division F Toastmaster Humorous Speech Competition on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Ann is an active member in the Tuesdays with Toastmasters (TwT). TwT meets weekly at noon in Hormel Food’s World Headquarters in Austin.

Toastmasters promotes and educates members in Leadership and Communication Skills.

She will be the backup speaker for the District 6 Humorous Speech Contest Nov. 3-4 at the Fall conference in Rochester.

There are two Toastmasters Clubs in Austin. Austin-nites Toastmasters meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 5:30 p.m.
