The No. 1 seeded Austin boys soccer team opened up the postseason in dominant fashion as they beat No. 16 seeded Kasson-Mantorville (1-15 overall) 7-0 in Art Hass Stadium Tuesday.

The Packers (14-0-2 overall) led 5-0 early in the second half as head coach Jens Levisen made sure to use the entire roster in a game that was played in cold temperatures and heavy rains.

“Under the conditions we were just trying to keep everybody warm and get them touches,” Levisen said. “Hopefully we’ll be ready to go again on Thursday.”
