Jets beat Bruins in a shootout

The Austin Bruins are still searching for their first win of the season as they lost to the Janesville Jets (8-1 overall) 2-1 in a shootout in Riverside Arena Saturday.
Austin missed all three of its shots in the shootout and Regan Cavanagh scored the game-winner for the Jets, who went one-for-three in the shootout.
The Jets forced overtime on a third period goal by Christophe Fillion after Austin’s Justin Brandt had given the Bruins a 1-0 lead in the second period.
Alex Schilling had 28 shots in the loss for Austin (0-2-1-2 overall).
