Packer volleyball team beats Albert Lea in four games

The Austin volleyball team scored its second conference win of the season when it beat Albert Lea (0-11 overall, 0-10 Big Nine) by scores of 24-26, 25-20, 25-10, 25-15 in AL Thursday.
Lauryn Petersen had four kills and eight blocks for the Packers (4-19 overall, 2-7 Big Nine) and Caitlin Kaercher had 12 set assists and eight digs.
“It was a great team effort,” Austin head coach Cindy Owen said. “I’m proud of the girls and they played more consistently tonight then they have for awhile.”
