Richard “Dick” Grover, 77, of Harmony, Minnesota, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at the Gundersen Harmony Care Center in Harmony.
Dick was born Sept 5, 1940, in Austin, Minnesota, to Clare and Gae (Greenlee) Grover. He married Linda Peterson on Oct. 1, 1975, in St. Croix County, Wisconsin. Dick worked as a computer technician at Mayo Clinic, retiring in 2010. Dick was a golf enthusiast and a member of the Harmony Golf Club. He also enjoyed fishing at Osakis Lake, near Alexandria, Minnesota.
Dick is survived by one daughter, Amy (Matthew) Benson; three grandchildren, Spencer, Mercedes and Sterling; one great-grandson, Killian; and six siblings, Fred Grover of Harmony, Bill (Mary) Grover of Adams, Minnesota, Linda (Mike) Burzinski of Austin, Shirley Brown of Austin, Deb Roberts of Austin and Joy Metz of Austin. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda in 2016; and five siblings, Jeanne Fox, Phyllis Hall, Sharon Grover, Kathy Grover and a sister who died in infancy.
A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20, at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony.
