A Houston man who allegedly impregnated a 15 year-old girl appeared on Thursday in Mower County District Court.
Nicholas Michael Douglas, 19, was charged with felony first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under 16 and felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim 13-15 and an actor more than 24 months older.
According to the court complaint, the Austin Police Department received a child protection intake summary from the Mower County Department of Human Services about a pregnant 15 year-old on Oct. 2. The summery alleged that Douglas was the father.
A detective spoke to Douglas, who said he knew the girl’s age, that they had been having sex, and that she became pregnant, according to the complaint.
