Getting ready to light up the town Friday

- Austin Utilities crew prepare the lights at First Avenue and Main Street for the Christmas in the City kickoff, which will be downtown from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Friday. To participate, meet at the intersection at 5:30 p.m. and walk with Santa Claus, the Austinaires and other holiday characters to the Town Center stage to light the downtown Christmas displays.
