Purse reported stolen from vehicle parked at school

A woman’s purse was stolen from her parked car while she was picking up her children from Pacelli School.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to a call at 5:41 p.m. on Monday in the south parking lot of the school. The victim said she parked to pick up her children. When she returned, she noticed the car door was ajar. Her purse, a small black backpack with three zippers, had been stolen from the vehicle. Inside the purse were several items, including her wallet, and HTC One M8 cell phone with a white case, her debit card and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police have no suspects at this time.
