Beverly L. Breitbarth, 89

Beverly L. Breitbarth, 89, a resident of Austin, Minnesota, since 1948, passed away on Nov. 9, 2017, at St. Mark’s Memory Care in Austin.
Beverly was born on New Year’s Eve of 1927 in Fargo, North Dakota, to Loren E. and Lydia C. (Moen) Swanson. Bev graduated from Trimont High School, after which she worked as a telephone operator in the area.
Bev married the love of her life, Robert E. Breitbarth, on Sept. 14, 1947. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Austin, where they lived their entire life together. Bob worked at Hormel Foods, while Bev was employed as a sales clerk for Fantles where she also served as a fashion buyer for both the store and at Leutholds.
She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church since 1952. Bev was also an outgoing and caring Christian to everyone who knew her. She delighted all in her supportive and nurturing ways, especially that of her beloved family and friends.
Beverly is survived by her son, Bradly Breitbarth and his wife, Susie Ager of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Tanya and her husband, Steve Yankowiak of Claremont, Minnesota, Christina and her husband, Phil Bogojevic of Hayfield, Minnesota, Lt. Lauren and her husband, Lt. Kevin Isaak of Norfolk, Virginia, Megan and her husband, Lucas Miller of Dallas, Nicholas Breitbarth and his partner, Jennifer Gonzalez of Dallas, Ferrell Breitbarth of Dallas, Forrest Wilbur of Dallas, and Ben Wilbur of New York, New York. Also left to cherish her memory are her great-grandchildren, Rayelle Haase, Jordan Yankowiak, Conner Breitbarth, Midshipman Piper Yankowiak, Hunter Yankowiak, Corbin Kreuger, Marik Bogojevic, Paxton Bogojevic, Cameron Miller, Lily Breitbarth, and Bradley Breitbarth; as well as beloved nephews and nieces, including Jon and his wife, Jan Breitbarth of Cypress, California, and her dear family friend, Jim Burmeister of Brownsdale, Minnesota.
Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Barry Breitbarth; and her beloved husband of 61 years, Robert Breitbarth.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jeffrey Forbes officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Immediately following the service, a luncheon will be served. A private family interment will be at the Oakwood Cemetery where Beverly will be laid next to her husband, Bob, and her son, Barry.
