On behalf of the Mower County Historical Society, I would like to thank all of our business partners and volunteers who made “Christmas in the County” a success!

We appreciated the numerous items donated for the raffle and the silent auction. Thanks to all of our volunteer bakers who made cookies, pies, breads, candies and other goodies for the bake sale.

A special thank you also goes out to the many volunteers who braved the cold weather outside, and helped to park cars, assisted with the horse drawn wagon rides and gave special tours of the 1004 steam engine.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who attended “Christmas in the County” and supported this major fundraising event of the year. We appreciate all of your support as we strive to live out our mission to discover, collect, preserve and share the history of Mower County and relate it to the history of Minnesota.
