The Austin wrestling team took sixth place out 10 teams at the FCLMC Holiday Tournament in Fillmore Central Saturday.

The Packers finished with a team score of 95, GMLOS was third with a 148 and Chatfield took first with a 177.5

Aiden Wilson won the title at 145 pounds for Austin.

“Aiden wrestled one the best tournaments of his career on Saturday,” Austin head coach Jed Osgood said. “He avenged an earlier season loss and beat the No. 4 ranked kid in AAA on his way to a first place finish. Aiden has been battling through injury and illness as of late, but he was both mentally and physically ready to compete on Saturday. I am excited to see the progress Aiden will make this season.” 

Phillp Zynda and Eli Marks took second for Austin and Josh Belden took third.
