Joyce Lillegaard, 85, of Austin, Minnesota, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at Our House Memory Care.

Joyce was born April 19, 1932, in St. Ansgar, Iowa, the daughter of Joy and Anita (Perkins) Lillegaard. She graduated from Lyle High School and worked at the First National Bank for a year and a half before going to work at Austin Utilities, where she worked for 35 years, retiring in 1988. Joyce was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and served in numerous offices and was also a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 446. Joyce was also an avid bowler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Keith Lillegaard.

Joyce is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David and Betty Lillegaard, Midwest City, Oklahoma; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at Six Mile Grove Cemetery, rural Lyle, Minnesota. Memorials are preferred to a charity of the donor’s choice. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
