Kenneth Robert Kneeskern, 89, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Saint Marys Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

Kenneth was born Nov. 15, 1928, to Dwight and Florence (Runner) Kneeskern in Austin, Minnesota. He graduated from Austin High School. On Nov. 23, 1950, he was united in marriage to Lois Avon (Neutzman). They were blessed with four children. Kenneth was employed at Hormel Foods from 1946 until 1984. In retirement he enjoyed his lake home in Baudette, Minnesota.

He is survived by Stephen (Debra) Kneeskern, Austin, Gregory Kneeskern, Austin, Eric Kneeskern, Austin, and Renee (Alan) Aswegan, Lyle, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois; brother, Ron; and grandson, Karl.

Services will be held at a later date.
