Riverland women fall to Western Tech

The Riverland Community College women’s basketball team lost to Western Tech (4-14 overall, 3-4 MCAC) 80-36 in Riverland Gym Wednesday.
The Blue Devils (1-19 overall, 0-7 MCAC) trailed 24-10 early, but Tech scored the next 17 points as it took over the game.

Hayfield grad Sophia Waldner paced RCC with 16 points, 11 rebounds and four steals and LeRoy-Ostrander grad Sam Siskow had nine points and 13 rebounds.
