The Austin Packer dance team finished in fifth place at the Minnesota Class AA state dance meet in Target Center in Minneapolis Saturday.

The Packers finished with a rank score of 20, finishing just behind St. Cloud Cathedral, which had a 19. Sartell-St. Stephens won the meet with a rank score of 7, capturing its second straight Class AA state title.

Austin’s Abby Miller and Nikki Summerfield were selected to the  Class AA All-Tournament team.

It was the 16th straight year the Packers have competed at state.
