Seniors lead Lyle-Pacelli girls past Southland

The No. 1 ranked Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team had its seniors step up on senior night as it beat Southland (6-13 overall) 72-37 in Lyle Thursday.
Minnesota State University commit Kristi Fett broke her own program record when scored 38 points to lead LP (22-1 overall), Brooke Walter had two points, nine assists and seven steals and Kendal Truckenmiller was three-for-four on three-pointers with nine points.
“We’re really proud of these seniors. This is probably one of the winningest classes in the history of Minnesota girls basketball,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “To send them out with a great performance tonight was awesome.”
Chelsey Kasel and Jenna Bentzin each had seven points for the Rebels.
