Gloria J. White, 70, of Mapleview, Minnesota, died on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at her home.

Gloria was born In Austin, Minnesota, to Maynard and Ruth (Sowden) White of Mapleview. She grew up in Mapleview and attended Austin High School.

Gloria enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafting and art. She had several jobs, but retired from Austin Public Schools. She was a member of the Eagles Club.

Survivors include brothers, Eugene (Diane) White of Mapleview, and Ron (Randee) White of Waseca, Minnesota; sister, Joann Shuck, Mapleview; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister; a brother; and a brother-in-law.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 3. at Mayer Funeral Home. Friends may call starting at 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at a later date. Condolences may be left online at www.mayerfh.com.
