According to the court complaint, Hinchley’s estranged wife, Amy Lynn Hinchley, was arrested on March 15 on a gross misdemeanor fifth-degree drug possession charge. During the booking process, her cell phone kept ringing. A detention sergeant looked at the phone and allegedly saw the caller was Roger Hinchley, whom Amy Hinchley has a domestic abuse no contact order against.

The call was reported to a Mower County deputy, according to the complaint. Amy Hinchley allegedly told the deputy that Roger Hinchley had been calling her and messaging her on Facebook since his release from jail and that she had been with him the previous night.
