Some Mower County motorists will encounter single lane single lane traffic and possible traffic delays beginning Monday, April 30 while pavement repair work begins on Highway 105 between Interstate 90 and Mower County Road 28 near Austin.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation said on two-lane highways, motorists will be stopped by flaggers who will ensure groups of vehicles safely move one direction through the construction zone while the other direction of traffic is stopped. Groups of traffic will take turns using the single open lane while being directed by flaggers. Waits of up to 10 minutes are possible.

On four-lane highways, motorists should expect single lane traffic and some delays through the work zone.
