Jason Senne, principal at Ellis Middle School since 2012, has resigned his post, effective June 30. Senne has served the district in various capacities since 1996.

In addition to being an instructor, he has served as dean of students and athletic director at Ellis.

The Austin School Board will formally consider his resignation during its regular meeting on Monday.

Also on the personnel agenda is the retirement of Dan Ball, longtime facilities coordinator for the school district.
